DIY armourfend

Anyone tried fitting armourfend themselves?
I had decided not to have the Griff done after it's respray but I picked up the 1st stonechip on the way to, or at Goodwood last week & it's really narked me.
I'm willing to give it a go but the nose section costs 200quid so I don't want to attempt the impossible & make a balls up!

Put my spot covers on and can safely say i wouldnt want to put a whole nose section on.
The spots where easy enough to do but u have to push lots of ittle airbubbles out as u put it on.Not sure how easy that would be on a nose section.
IMO Leave it to the Pro's. Too easy to Firk up.

After seeing the guys from armourfend fit it and myself once fitting one to a 911 Porsche Badly - DON'T DO IT YOURSELF!!

Get the amourfend blokes over bite the bullet (cost) and it won't look pants!

Looks like a pro job then. I had them do the Leon & was wondering how dificult it was (I wasn't there to see it).

Leadfoot how goods is the Leon,I've being thinking about one myself but haven't been able to get a test drive as yet,how would it stack up against the Civic or RS focus?

Dunno how it compares 'cos I've not driven the other 2. All the car mags seem to give it favourable write ups in group tests, although I'd guess its less 'hardcore'
I'm very impressed with it. Get that test drive. They can be had for £16k ish new if you try hard enough & that looks like a bargain to me (I paid 16.3k).
