Had to take the hood off my TVR last week, quite easy. Just 3 big allen bolts and two self tappers. Due to rear screen un-stitched. Paid £50 to a local trimmer and back the next day. Thought i'd post pics, as looks oddly nice with no hood.....At least i think so....

WHAT DO YOU THINK...

Hey I actually like this! There's something about the Griff hood poking up all the time (down boy!) which I think sometimes can look a bit naff - this solves that problem! You're a bit knackered if it starts to pee down tho'.....

in case of rain you could always just drive really slowly with the front panel in!!!

Mark, can you let me know the trimmer you used- my rear screen has come unstitched.
Did the trimmer manage to use your orginal screen?

Thanks

Simon

Thanks for the response, looks wierd but good. Thanks also for the COLOUR comment, must admit i have not seen another griff in this colour....

The trimmer i used is based in leatherhead, a company called UNIQUE TRIMMING on 01372 363448. He comes to your house within reason, and was fairly good. He used my original screen and just re-stitched the fabric all over...Hope this helps....

Does anyone make a tonneau for a griff ? With one half zipped up, you would only need to wear a hat to keep the rain off !
