... fill the boot with fumes or have I got a problem? Had a weekend break over Easter and, much to my wives annoyance discovered the boot had filled with fumes and all her neatly packed designer outfits smelled fantastic! I've got underneath the back and the exhaust looks fine? Is a case of 'they all do that sir?'

Check boot and light seals.

When I had my Griff I had a similar problem. Turned out to be the fuel guage (sp?) sender. Open the boot, peel back carpet at top right hand side of petrol tank and gently tighten the nut that secures it to the petrol tank. Cured it for me.
