I am awaiting my new Griff and wondered if there is any EASY way to adjust the headlamp beams for continental driving. I've spoken to my normal dealer and they say there isn't. What do people do when they take their Griff to France?

Aren't the dipped lights so weak anyway it won't make much difference???

Been to France several times inmy Griff and the answer is that I didn't bother. R...

I think you may need beam converters for driving on the left, I made the last lot from tape but you can get them cheaply enough at the Ferry port / Chunnel.

They just blank out part of the beam and can be removed easily unlike the yellow jobs.

I did make a vague attempt to protect the Frogs from high beam out of some gaffer tape, but the last few times away I haven't bothered. Like it says here, standard Griff lights arent the most dazzling.

Don't bother as the dipped headlights are too dim to attract attention anyway.

I used to live in Monaco with my Griffith and did not bother with the beam-benders. If you really want to be strictly legal you would have to remove and dis-assemble the pods to fit the masks to the lenses (it would be a complete waste of time to fit anything to the plastic fairings) then re-assemble everything before your trip. If you went to all this trouble you would have to repeat the process on your return to the UK.

Well, the Griffith has perspex lens covers which makes sticking yellow beam deflectors on a bit pointless, and the full-beams are just that.

I have to agree with Clive.
My Griff is now over to the continent for just a while.
Couldn`t find a heart for the light conversion yet.
Driven quite a lot - day and night - I haven´t had any troubles with other roadusers or esp. police.
