Winter Maintenance - work urgently needed!!

I am in danger of having to redecorate the house if I cannot find some "urgent winter jobs" that need doing on the Griff - any suggestions for any jobs which sound awfully time consuming but are not really too bad?

Its usually the other way round. There are plenty of jobs that sound dead simple, but actually take 3 weeks

Still its better than decorating... I know I'm half way through the bathroom

jack up one corner, remove wheel, clean out wheel arch, mask off and spray matt black. Repeat until satisfied or household chores begin to seem preferable
