Dan,
my car is exactly the same as yours, even down to the alloy dash. Originally mine was specced by the local TVR dealer and used as a demo. There is nothing unique in the TVR world despite all the options!!!
sipow,
If its any guide I swapped my 97P Cerbera for the Griff, but the (NON TVR) dealer had it up at £19995.
It's 98R, Demo + one owner, 37000mls,FTVRSH, and pretty good all round. From a previous chat with him he would have taken £19000 in a straight sale.

Well B*gger me.
Mine was originally a dealer demo too!!
I guess that accounts for the 'in your face' 'look at me' spec
sipow,
The other thing I forgot to mention was that my car came with the number plate B16 YEL, which was originally put on by the TVR dealer when new. They also had a Cerbera with B16 AJP. Locally my car was always referred to as BIG YEL. When I got the car the dealer also handed me a letter which offered a return of £750 should I want to sell the number. Should give you plenty room for negotiation. Do remember that with 37000 mls, mine is fairly high mileage for its year which definitely makes a difference to the value. Our local TVR Specialist ( NOELV8 on these postings) would also tell you that virtually every Griffith needs the suspension rebushed (£700 total) and often discs and pads, which in any case are worth upgrading. If the car you look at is really good in all aspects, it does save a lot later. It may be better to negotiate on getting any work or improvements to the car as a dealer can do all this at less cost. Best of Luck - hope its a good un !!

Well one that man.
I hope you enjoy yours as much as I have enjoyed mine. There is nothing like cruising down a country road on a balmy summer evening with the roof down, looking down that curvey yellow bonnet, listnening to a 5 litre V8 burbling happily away to itself... Bliss!
If you are ever in the South Glos Area give me a shout.

Glad to see that you all have the same taste in Griffiths to me.
I personally think that the Griffith looks best in Yellow.
Did you buy this from Scotland by any chance? I seem to remember inquiring about one with a similar plate last year, only decided it was too far to travel!!

quote:Mine isn't too bad really although they always seem to land on my bonnet and cook almost instantly! My car is similar to the Giallofly yellow. It's actually called Nugget yellow. There is an exterior and interior photo of it on the TMS web site, in the gallery!!
Its gotta be the nicest colour,Hows yours been and does it attract midges
Well my 500 arrived on Tuesday, but due to suffering from a bizarre 'flu' type illness for the past 4 weeks, it's gone into the garage and that's where it will have to stay until I'm feeling upto it!
I've waited oh at least 8 years for this moment and when it's finally arrived I feel the worst I've ever felt! I guess I've waited this long, another week or so isn't going to do any harm...
