Should I/Shouldn't I?

Had my 4 litre chim for 4 months or so now. Great car to drive and faster than most on the road. Its quite easy to scare yourself in that, but if you need a 5 then....Mine also does lurch a bit in first gear when in traffic, its harder to keep it smooth at low speeds when crawling in comparision to an standard car. But if you leave a big enough gap between you and the car in front, then this is not too much a problem. Clutch is a bit heavy and you do have to coast it a bit in traffic. Thats not too bad but does give the legs a bit of a workout. But without a doubt buy one.
Many people complain of the problems with their TVRs. I have not had any really major ones yet, just the alarm replaced. I think all those people who own TVRs and are happy with their cars just dont feel as much need to write in- so you probably get a biased view point as anybody who owns a problem car like to tell everyone else about it !!

quote:It might well do... but why look for such a complicated reason? There's plenty of other simple things that could need a bit of tuning. None of the 500s should be particularly lurchy in traffic in standard form.
marshy, it would be interesting to find out what cam profiles yours has.....this would make the difference we see between a smoothy like yours and a bear like mine
