The reason is I was quite suprised how much lighter the Gotti's are than the Estorils..

Very noticable, even the guys at the tyre place mentioned ityikes

But I really noticed it when I came to refit them... The rears were really easy to lift onto the studsthumbup
Thats because they are made of swiss cheese. You don't really want them Quinny, they'll get you killed whem they melt and go rubbery in the sun.
Big BIG mistake to put them junk on your lovely car. Put the Estorils back on mate, we can@t afford to loose someone with your charm and wit.

Whats the difference between Camille Gottis and the Axia wheels ?

I have Axia on mine, but they look identical. Am I missing something very obvious ?

My rears Have "Emmental" and "Swiss" cast into them... But the fronts only have "Emmenthaler" cast into them.

It's entirely possible that I have fronts and rears from 2 different sets.. But I've never looked closely enough at others to know...

Oh and my rears also have a hole between a couple of the stud holes that thankfully looks like its for a cover, but is actually just one of the holes traditionally found in Swiss cheese.

The spoke design F & R is identicle.. I'll be interested to see some others to see what cheese maker marks are on themyes
Edited for accuracy because you can't lie to us.

Thats a very good question and I don't know the answer...

My rears Have "Camille Gotti" and "Axia" cast into them... But the fronts only have "TVR" cast into them.

It's entirely possible that I have fronts and rears from 2 different sets.. But I've never looked closely enough at others to know...

Oh and my rears also have a threaded hole between a couple of the stud holes that looks like its for a cover.

The spoke design F & R is identicle.. I'll be interested to see some others to see what casting marks are on themyes
I believe TVR sourced the Griffith five spoke wheels from Axia and also AMIL. The Axias should have Camille Gotti's signature on them. The last time I looked there were very subtle differences between the Axia and the AMIL in terms of offset and spoke design.

18" on the rear, 17" on the front. Sadly my Gotti's are now gone frown So these are the only one I have.

hi Quinny, you have finally done it; they do look good but the "Image" wheels that "Split rim Bob" has [ pictures on TVRCC ] are the best IMO; they have the 8 spoke centres ala minilites
