hi Quinny, you have finally done it; they do look good but the "Image" wheels that "Split rim Bob" has [ pictures on TVRCC ] are the best IMO; they have the 8 spoke centres ala minilites
I agree. I had this image saved so hope Split Rim Bob doesn't mind me posting?

Agreed - Whilst I like split rim bobs image wheels I have to agree that they are stunning. Love the Green/brown with silver.
Marty - Lovely car. Saw it at HHC and looked in great nick.

My 500 with SP12's

they do look very nice, really suit the Griff, I remember seeing them on Phil James Cerb at the Nurburgring a few years ago too, they look great on TVR's.

Always loved the original OZ split-rim look, but felt the arches needed a bit more filling....

Fronts: Lenso BSX 16" 7.5J Toyo T1-R 225/45/16
Rears: Compomotive CXN 17" 7.5J Toyo T1-R 235/50/17

One day I'll find a pair of CXNs for the front, but the Lensos are a pretty good match, and a great size and fit. I do get the odd tiny rub on the back arches when two-up and pressing on along a bumpy road.

Finally - yes, my post count is shameful! I've finally got something worthwhile posting!

Lovely wheels, but not the easiest to keep cleansmile
Very true! I've been really quite sad and shelled out for a handful of different size/shape/texture brushes to keep it under control.

I'm not looking forward to polishing them though.........job for the winter, I think hehe

Wow - Always loved both Gottis and OZ's from Pre Cats - Can't see that well on photo but he Lenzo looks great.

Here's a pic from the front. It's funny, I was dreading putting different wheels on the car (as in different makes) but it was proving impossible to get 16" CXN fronts. And unless you look at a photo, back and forth, you just don't notice really. I know that nowadays the leaning is usually towards low-profile rubber, but I just love the way the rears fill the arches, like a Cobra.
(But then I always thought the Griff had a pretty sexy rear end, maybe I need to get out more.)

I had my inner arches reshaped to stop the rubbing, cost about £100 IIRC.

My Griff is very close to needing its first set of new tyres believe it or not. Question is do I get a set of Toyo's for original rims (yes am aware can only get R rated for the front now) or get a new set of wheels and tyres? Has anyone sold a good of Estorils recently, if so for how much?

Would love a set of 16" OZ X-Spokes all round for mine (to keep the original theme going size wise) but as has already been said, they must be HELL to keep clean.
a poor excuse I know, but as much as I love cleaning my car, cleaning the wheels is my pet hate paperbag

Tempted to go for Lenso Rims on my 500.

Are they a good wheel? Surprisingly cheap for a set...

I bought a set of Lensos last year for my Griff 16"/17" and yes they are cheap(ish) but I think the quality is very good, lots have commented on them (favourably) but inevitably be prepared the purists will have a moanrolleyesrolleyesrolleyes. I have kept the original Estorils of course and am delighted with the transformation.

Below a pic from last weekend a very hot trip to the Peak District outside the Bulls Head Monyash next to what was going to be the UK's answer to a Le Mans circuit.
