A mad, bad Mini project
Discussion
email i got on the 6th sept being a patreon
"This is just a quick note to tell you we haven't expired and gone to meet our maker, nor are we singing with the choir invisible. We are however miles behind where we wanted to be, but we're making progress finally after spending what seems like eternity working through a nightmare problem. We hope to be able to bring you all the next episode within the next few weeks but like everything associated with this crazy project that may have to change. Thank you for your patronage but most of all, your patience. Kind regards, Nik and Richard."
Apologies for the bump, I'm a barsteward

I haven't been keeping up to date with Blinky recently so i had a blinky binge on Sunday - watched from episode 6 right up to current.
The amount of thought that is going into this project is on a scale i've never seen before. Top entertainment.
Now, get yourself on the tv!
I don't think tv companies are interested in 14 episodes over three years (unless its game of thrones) when or if the project gets finished someone would probably be able to edit it down to 6-8 30 minute shows. The amount of thought that is going into this project is on a scale i've never seen before. Still I'm fairly happy with watching it on YouTube

The last few days have seen some very late nights for both of us; we suffer for our art... However, episode 16 of Project Binky is in the can. (That's the vernacular apparently.) If you're a Patron, you get it tonight. If not, don't worry you'll see it tomorrow at 8.00pm!
Roll on tonight!gowmonster said:

Roll on tonight!Nuts, if I do this and that I can get an extra 25mm, plus some more room for the power steering and down pipe, months later outside looks no different but huge amounts of a amazing work not too mention a custom Ali hvac box fabbed from scratch, I am hoping there isn't too much reengineering going to have to happen. But the boys from BOM set there own standards.

Lovely stuff.
People don't care how boring YOU may think certain aspects of the build may be, we'ed watch it, hell I used to watch the test card with the long haired girl, chalkboard and clown as a kid, sometimes.
As for the heater box, a brilliant design and it'd be even better if on one of (or all) the settings it makes that noise a beer bottle does when you blow over the opening like a Peuvian pan pipe. It could be a bit alpine horn, a bit pan pipe moods, a bit church organ. If it does though and if you don't like it then you could always sell it on e-bay as a new wonder musical instrument, like the marvelous mechanical mouse organ off of Bagpuss.
It will no doubt work perfectly though!

amazing levels of skill on show. that bracket that took 7.5 hours to construct is a prime example of that. with all the experience , skill and tools available it still took that long.
if it was me , it would still take longer and involve gaffer tape and cable ties.
i should really watch that episode again.
