Not a Project Binky update, but I have been following this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5V2xKO1Z4U

Which is an American guy restoring a GT6 and putting an LS4 into it...

The style is very similar and it's a good series to watch.

Good watch always liked the GT6 but then I found out it was a 4 cyl (v young me thought the 6 was the cylindersl but GT6 and v8 going to be a handful. The vid was missing lots of captured nuts and more brackets to compare binky.

They are all 6 cyl

The standard Spitfire is a 4 Cyl.

Am I going mad or was there an update earlier today that has since vanished?

Sort of like a "here is what we have been up to while we can't do binky or the lorry" sort of thing?

Saw it in my list this morning and went to watch it tonight but it has vanished.

Unless I am indeed going mad.

Probable tbh.

There was an update, their suppliers are shut and they can't work on Binky or the escargot, but they have been working on the race car, have a few episodes ready, but it will start airing some time in September. There was a short race sound clip too, worth listening to.

Edit, found the message, I thought it was a vid not just the little statement.

Meh.

Bloody virus.

I wonder if they'll end up turning into something like Retropower, they already do race and rally car builds.

Project Binky episode 33 will follow soon after the conclusion of our Bargain Racement series in November. Part 5 of which goes out at 7.00pm BST today! After spending a couple of weeks building it, we get to race our C1 for the first time!

Anybody else quite tempted by the city car cup? The only problem is I don’t have a car trailer or a car homologated for a a tow bar, which means changing a car or driving the race car... scratchchin

Surely this is a water trap, the heat-shrink needed to be of the adhesive type to prevent water running down the cables into the sensor termination point

Depends how its mounted, if the plug points down then its not a problem so much.
