I love binky, however I have to disagree those wheels are gopping. I,d have thought they could have found something more in fitting with the cars style.

Obviously a personal choice thing

I think they’re suitably retro which is obviously the look he was going for.

I assumed they’d be going with minilites tbh.

Oh don't get me wrong I know f all about styling, I just assumed they would go for something more traditional like




I'm guessing fitments is an issue though.

I can't remember if they have mentioned the hubs or the PCD of the wheels, but wouldn't they be a Toyota fitment and not a Mini fitment, then 13" diameter and who knows how wide with those arches. So probably not off the shelf.

Oh I don’t know anything about styling either!

I think with the width of the drivetrain they probably needed some + offset wheels to keep the arches as small as possible. Still absolutely massive though!

Suitability widened steel wheels would have looked better. Not a fan of alloys on older stuff.

Binky looks mint though, can't believe it is done.

Good point on the steels like an original cooper s with hubcaps.

Remember they converted to 4 stud hubs to make wheel choice easier. Not sure on pcd, 100 maybe.

4x108 if memory serves, is mentioned in 1 or 2 vids

Old ford fitment, so would make wheel choice easier.

Still surprised they went with body colour arches with a black roof, but their choice.
