Wow this is amazing, I own a 1275 mini at the moment, I would never part with it, but recently I've looked into "if money was no object" second cars, the Lotus Elise was the obvous choice but when I haerd a TVR tick over at the traffic lights I just new that had to be a contender.
Its not a british car thing, I just find myself strangely drawn to these cars, as do all other mini owners by the look of it, Weird

My 1st car was a mini 1275GT...still got it...its up for sale now but only cause of space...I always wanted a rarri...308...then 328GTS...but times have moved on...and when I met a V8S in ruby mica red @ the scottish show in 1993...drove 1 not long after...when it was started in the show room...oh wow...it was woof woof...putting it politely...and I might be able to afford 1 of these 1 day (realistically) !!!

1997 and a job in germany made it all possible...within 3 days of being back the deal was done...not red but green...there was only 3 to choose from in the country @ the time !

But minis...well...1once bitten...u just can't let go...and they still have their appeal/uses.

My van is built for upsetting all those locals who r not aware...and thrashing round circuits...soon to be upgraded to the next variant with lsd...s/c box, etc...oh for CC mini day next year !

In the meantime the V8S goes into hibernation now...while deals are done for her to have a stable mate...watch this space.

Yes...there will be garage clear out sale...yes the alladin's cave for mini's will be open...so again watch this space...I have to compile an inventory of what's there 1st !

I've just sold my S2 so I suppose I'm no longer entitled to be on this thread!!!!!
It's only a temporary measure though, looking for a Chimaera, or if madness strikes, maybe even a Cerbera.
Be back soon!

Not that anyone seems intrested in this thread any more, but I'm back in the club as I've just bought a '97 Cerbera 4.2.

Actually, I only put this here because I'm really excited and have told just about everyone else I can think of!!!!!!!!!

Yep - long term TVR owner.
Have had all 3 Minis actually. First Mini One, then Cooper and now an S Works.

Sadly the TVRs had to go in the end for an Italian beauty.
