Well the only joint I havent checked is the one at the fusebox (the switched feed). Perhaps cleaning up the terminals will help?

I had two terminals on my fusebox end up totally shagged - just corrosion, need a new fusebox In the end I just bridged those fuses with inline jobs from halfords (off the BOB mega-ICE section) - much easier.

When I get round to it I'm going to redo the wiring - put in a proper fuse box inside the car, with a fuse for everything instead of 4 fuses for the whole bloody car...

Have you fitted that super dooper linkage thing yet?

I've just ordered one and wondered what it would be like to fit.

Not yet - you'll probably be able to hear the cursing in windsor when I do if Ben was right

Might give it a go tonight, depends what time I finish work (no garage and it was a bit dark to be pissing around under the car when I got home last night).

Make sure you have a spare connector to crimp onto the wire just encase the old one breaks off.

Do you just love Minis?

Been through that before, now have a toolbox full of the damned things!

They are such fun and so great but they can be such a pain in the arse at times.

There are certain things on them that I would gladly throttle the engineers for though...

They had engineers? once watched a film that showed them building a mini, it show them ‘carefully’ aligning the front subframe.... with a club hammer

Still great fun when they’re going.

That was them being careful - they usually used a sledge hammer

Can't imagine tackling anything on the mini's electrics without my large supply of connectors at hand

Love it to bits though
