Hi Dave,
How's the car handling now?
Let me know if you need any more assistance or advice.
Your car is great and I think the ride height will give you much better overall handling now.
Good to meet you as well.
Don't forget to recommend Chris to all your Mini friends.

Hi Cooperman
The car is handling alot better now
Gonna make a few more adjustments to tyre track and damper settings but you were so right about the ride hights.
Now the car is higher Chris and I softened the dampers to four clicks and the result was I can realy chuck it into corners now without the wheels touching the arches.
Does still touch in extremes hence the reason I'm gonna stiffen them slightly.
I'm going back up to Chris soon, was planning this weekend but I dont think it will be possible now.
I've actually got to give Chris back your battery from the black one as the battery on mine was not charging at first but seems ok now, Strange.
When I do it will be also to modify the current settings so it would be nice if you can join us again.
Thanks Cooperman

Hi Dave, glad to have helped. There is no rush for the battery as I shan't be moving the black car until all the body restoration is complete, then I'll take it back to my workshop for its full Enduro Rally build. If you want to call around whilst I'm doing that you'll be most welcome. Anticipated completion date for the car in full Enduro rally trim is around end of Jan '04. Once the body is done it must have a very complete engine and gearbox re-build, all lines inside, all suspension re-built, fireproofing, new navigator's panel and instruments, carbon-fibre seats, etc, etc. It will be a biggish job, but, I hope, worth it in the end. I doubt it will go like my 'S' though!
Let me know when you'll be at Chris', but bear in mind that I am away on the illuminations historic rally on the weekend of 24/25/26 Oct.
