Need a mini - Portsmouth / Chichester area

Anyone got / know of a decent 998 Mini saloon with decent bodywork / engine in the Portsmouth / Chichester area? Mate has around £500 - £1k to spend.

I know that DeTomaso is selling his "TVR baiting" 998cc Mini for about £700. See the LB III forum:

He's not in Portsmouth, but he regularly makes the trip over to the west country to his family - in fact he's coming over next weekend en-route to the Wales Rally GB.

That's true, if you want some info and some piccies don't hesitate to drop me a line. I am selling it because I only do long distance journeys now and it's not quite practical enough (not that it ever was in the first place, but that's besides the point), so yes drop me a line if you are interested.
