Actually, it can normally be found parked outside assorted ex-pat mum and baby hangouts around Zürich rather than in Kensington, but a fair point otherwise hehe

Here's my 1960 series 2 still occasionally working for a living.

I also own an 84 stage 1 which is undergoing a very very slow restoration and is currently buried somewhere in the corner of my workshop.

Splendid - simply splendid. When William Morris wrote the SPAB manifesto, exhorting the owners of historic buildings to "stave off decay by daily care" rather than embark on wholesale restorations, he could equally well have been talking about Series landies

Thank you all for the nice comments. smile

No dbdb it belongs to the fella in the unit next to mine. It is a V12 which he has owned for many years & he says it will one day be back on the road, as far as I know it has sat in that same spot for at least three years.

cloud9 Is it possible to get the Bowler pack on a 110 at all?

Here's one of mine from today. Went off-roading to Hawkstone Park, managed to sink up to the axles in one of the most awkward spots possible for recovery!

Yes, Bowler will fit 110. You can buy complete kit or just upgrade bit by bit

Agreed. Any more photos like that and he'll be joining you on the "People who make me insanely jealous with their beautifully worn-in classic Land Rovers" list.

Hotspur Cars Sandringham 6. (basically a modified stage 1 V8) 3.5 litre Rover V8 Mk 1 Range Rover gearbox with central differential through drive to rear diff. Air locking central diff.
Fairey overdrive so 16 forward speeds.

Battery powered hydraulic pump which operates tipping body and 1 ton capacity swinging crane. Used for loading largish logs in woodland
Meant to post this on here yesterday but took the wrong turning and went "off road!"

Is it the only one signwritten like this? If so I saw it being trailered up the M5 today.
