I think we are going to give in and 'retire' our D1 (50th Anniversary edition) due to simply sitting there on the drive and never being used. We kept it as a tip run special so as not to ruin the carpets in the 'new' L322 Autobiog.

Anyone on here fancy it? Should be chock full of spare parts and I imagine we could let it go for 'reasonable' cash. It had its MOT in November so running, insured and taxed etc. Slow leak on o/s front wheel/tyre due to light corrosion on the inside of the wheel rim. Car was welded (Sill and boot floor) as part of MOT. Will dig out some piccys.

175K miles.... we have had it since before its 3rd birthday smile

My P38 V8, 20 years old still looking good smokin
That looks brilliant, a lady at work has got a P38 4.6 HSE and it's lovely. A real opulent way to travel even now, with that lovely refined rumble in the background. Seems strange parking my TVR next to it at work knowing they're powered by much the same engine. Have you had any issues with it or has it been pretty trouble free?
IMHO, they are like a 4x4 Bentley. Some of the detail and finish on the interior is beautiful and, for my money, it is the best ever RR shape of all, second only to the Classic.

Coincidentally, Mrs Digga and I were following a P38 on Sunday in a very similar shade of green to RetroWheels and she said "that's an old one", to which I replied, "yes, but I'd have another of those, best car I've had". Reckon they will become a classic. Here's my old one:

Im a bugger for lurking on PH but not always logging in biggrin , so apologies for delay in repLy.

They always looked good in green Marcus (like Griffs cool )
Had air suspension issues LewG, but all in all no reliability drama's - as with TVR the unreliable story gets blown out of all proportion.. and some Marques are worth a little extra effort wink

My car's been away having some light paint titivation but im intending to take it to Race Retro at Stoneleigh for a few days over this weekend , the hotel car park there has some great stuff parked up every year, from vintage Bentley to new but very mucky 991 GT3, VW vans to scruffy ! 70's DB Aston.. all sorts of esoteric stuff. And as usual ,a dirty (but at the same time immaculate.. ) old P38 4.6 will be holding it's own.

smokin.

That looks awesome. Can you give a little overview of the model, mods done etc please.

Finally.

The snorkel has been attached to the car.

Hateful job but worth it in the end.

Saw a silver 2 Door on a R plate once.

They aren't common.

Looks very good, is it good under the car as many are rot boxes.

Our 50th Anniversary Disco 1 looks very rough compared to that but has an MOT; wanna' swap??? Or we should mate them and get a perfect one?

Water pump on a 300TDi is dead easy. Just make sure all the air's out when you refill it.
Added a finishing touch to mine (pun intended wink )....
