Looks like you've got your old number plate back - I'm sure that it was different in previous pics!!

Great pics by the way smile

Yes I have. Very pleased to get it back on the original registration - it looks 'right'.

As a bonus I got YSL199 on retention.

I like the 88" Series Two!
Here is my Dad's 88" Series One, we've just fitted a window hard top ready for winter. This hard top was an eBay bargain with the whole lot including rare rear catflap costing less than £200, a great find by my Dad.

Separated by 55 years

Are those 16 inch or 18 inch sawtooth's? Also, what offset?

They look great, sorely tempted to get some...

Genuine sawtooths (and all genuine Defender wheels) are 16"

My first LR, had it about 6 weeks, no breakdowns...yet rofl Added a gloss black side vent and some genuine D4 rear lights, couple of other subtle mods planned but that's it. Thinking about a late D4 Lux this time next year if this one behaves itself.

To be fair to the D3/4, they tend not to breakdown in the traditional old British car sense. IE. its overheated and you are stuck on the hard shoulder with a car thats un-driveable.

Whats more likely to happen is issues with air suspension where it tells you limited modes available and you can only drive at a maximum of 30mph. Worse case scenario is it drops to the bumps stops and you have a bumpy ride home.

Obviously there are lots of other things that can and will go wrong, but I've had a tough day and I can't be bothered to list them biggrin

Yep, not too worried tbh, after all I own a 997 Gen 1 too and the engine hasn't self imploded on that yet. Life's too short to worry wink
