Playing with some mates around Saffron Walden way
Revisited Claerwen and Elan Valley a month later, a truly lovely place to be. A long journey from Bedfordshire in a Series though.
Finally down to East Horsley in Surrey for a spot of camping and a trip to Brooklands
Series tailgate makes a great stove table

Back in the LR camp with a chav Range Rover. Everything is smoked, wheels are ugly and has a few small issues with usual rear arch rust/central locking/air suspension/anti rollbar.
Looking into a set of steels with chunky off-road tyres this time round instead of the 50p shaped 20s I had on the last one.

Have it a few weeks.
Got it for my dear wife.
2011 L322 with the Ford twin turbo 4.4 V8 diesel motor.
Nara Bronze.
Can't stop driving it. It's just a nice thing to spend time in.
Kids love it, told them it is a brown tractor.
"Oh daddy look, a tractor like mummy's in blue"
I hope I'll always have a good land rover from now on, a good piece of engineering.

My first Land-Rover, 88" Series One.
Apparently it is still in use...would love to meet up with the current owner.
A slippery rock caused it to slide off from straddling the ruts so we had to get the hi-lift out to do some digging.
Those tyres (Super Mud Pluggas) were great for laning but terrible on wet roads.

Flew back to the UK 2 weeks ago, 12 hours after landing I had picked this up - 2009 TDV8 on 110k miles for 6k.
Gave it some new brake disks, pads and tires, and have done 2000 faultless miles in it, Including a mini euro tour to Paris, Amsterdam and Brugge.
Everything works on the car and its even managed 29.8mpg so far!
i have now probably put the kiss of death on the poor thing, but very happy so far!
