Starting to get fed up with this. Some people need their driving privileges removed.
First picture is from April of this year. No note left and I had to consult the CCTV to identify the number plate of the car involved (64 plate 1 Series) and track down their insurer. I saw the woman driver a day or so later and she claimed it was my fault because my car is too big and was parked too close to the white line. (It was inside its bay)
It took a little while for a slot to appear at the bodyshop but the repair was done well with a good colour match, if a touch heavy on the clearcoat. Nothing that good polish wouldn't sort once the paint had hardened.
This second photo was taken in July less than 24 hours after getting the car back home from its repair. No note left.
The bodyshop took pity on me and got it in for repair quickly and at a very reasonable cost to repaint the whole bumper skin.
Fast forward to yesterday morning and the same woman from April knocked my door and admitted she had just scuffed my car once again. And yet again it was partly my fault because my car is so big etc. She also claimed that she isn't a bad driver. I suggested that might not be a true statement.
Looking forward to securing my regular spot at the bodyshop's car park. FML.

My latest project acquisition, 1952 series 1 80” special..
it’s on a shortened range rover classic chassis & axles, but(!) fortunately built in the late 1980’s and documented/evidenced with the series 1 club so it’s authenticated as predating the requirement for IVA/Q-plate etc so it is a legal, real hybrid, some say, a unicorn.. (tax/mot exempt etc),
Not one for the purists & rivet counters but I can daily it without needing a chiropractor!
It’s got +4” trials suspension all round but I’m collecting pets back to stock height and probably even minus 1” coils for *ahem* road holding.. a bit of an OEM+ ‘hot rod’ theme, but very understated
Bought with no running gear but has mounts for 200tdi/LT77/LT230 which will be revision 1, rev 2 possible rover v8..
It’ll be soon painted all bronze green with ivory (limestone) 90 wolf steel wheels, oh and rag top. Might start a thread on it.

Just realised I haven’t put up a pic of my 110 project. It’s a 2.8i but I’m rebuilding it effectively as a restomod with a contemporary M3 engine
As it arrived from the paint shop
In the garage with my SA 50th 90
And most recently with the engine fitted, which was pretty painless, almost everything has been bolt in
