With the move out into the countryside it was time to put a bucket list car in garage so went an got a Defender 90. Like a lot of them it has had a replacement engine so currently running a 300TDi.
Strange thing is the dog loves it, but does not like our BMW 335D Tourer now !!! Suppose that's what happens when you have a working cocker - knows what a proper vehicle is !!
Couple of little niggles which will need to get sorted out, would not be a landie without them

First time I've seen bulkhead removal with the roof in situ! Was it easy? With the big fook off bolts through the outriggers removed, the bulkhead became a bit like a massive loose tooth which got looser the more it was waggled.
There was just enough space beneath the bulkhead, coupled with a bit of flex in the screen and roof, to spring the bulkhead out from under the windscreen.
It's pretty much back together now externally, just the dash and steering column to do. If it ever stops raining.
