We're adopting a dog this week and I always like an interesting car so I thought it would be a good excuse to get something slightly out of the ordinary. A 2005 TD6 Range Rover Vogue caught my eye locally. It's got 114k miles on it. Is there anything to be wary of on these cars or should I steer well clear.

I need a good tow car to tow my track car which is why I went for the 535d I have now but have always fancied a range rover or discovery.

Thanks,

Mark

Gearbox, get confirmation that it has had a new one.

They do not last

get it chipped and the speed is less of an issue.

However it doesn't help the weak gearbox!!

I had one. Its not exactly fast by any means of the word. 114k it will be tossing a coin as to whether or not it will need a new box. Might be worth checking S/H for evidence of gearbox oil changes.

Still a nice car if with all the options smile
