Buying a 22 ft that weighs 1750 kg dry and without the 4 wheel trailer. Is my 2015 LR90 going to be up to the job of towing this?

If you could send me over your owner's manual, I'll have a look in there and check for you tongue out

You'll feel it but it won't struggle.

Defenders are rated at the 3500kgs max for overrun trailers.

I towed a 27ft 2.5t rib from Scotland to south coast in a 2015 defender 90. The car never struggled for power just a little scary when going down hill or lifting of the throttle. Wouldn't do it again. However your boat sounds about the right weight and length, you should be fine.

It will tow that fine although you'll notice the weight. Make sure the trailer and LR brakes are tiptop as you'll die in a fiery ball of fire otherwise; take your time when towing if you've not done it before, anticipation and reading the road is vital to avoid killing yourself or others to death. Use low range when manoeuvring, it makes life a lot easier.

Like this one. Although confused as to how you kill someone half to death?

Also check your license. You need B+E, if you passed since 1997 you won't have it.

I feel honoured to have been the recipient of your triennial post to PH; top lurking that man.
