Picked up D5 today - black pack

Did you got with a black rear number plate? That could help the looks no end.
Sorrry, couldn't resist.
I had one on loan and it is a great car, but I think they should have made more of an evolution of the D4.
Where have the Range Rover Sport and now the Velar that does the luxury look, a bit more chucky and utilitarian would have been nice.

I honestly think people on here just don't get the market for these things we are seeing most the mum's at our kids school either upgrading or planning to upgrade and those that have all recommend it. It's an end game car the people buying them don't car about looks they like the image of discovery and the praticality and now it's luxurious like a RR and drives better.Sorrry, couldn't resist.

Maybe the dads think it's not a great looked but do they care about what their wives want or what the car they don't drive looks like?

Agreed on the above. It looks "good enough" in my view.
its just a great car to drive, and the interior is very nice. I think they've cut a few quality corners on the interior that are a shame (door cards etc)
The V6 really is quite quick for a big car - it can hustle. And its just very calming on a long drive.
Oh, the Incontrol is very buggy. Their IT guys have let them down.

Congrats on the New car OP. I quite like the new D5 and the interior and tech is in another league to the D4. Also, we would all welcome the fuel savings too.
