Landrover export to usa

Hello, right, in layman's terms, can I export my 1990 110csw to the USA? It's had and engine change to a 300tdi, but apart from that it's pretty much standard, it's not shinny bright, has a snorkel, a-bar, hd springs,on original chassis, v5 +current mot , any advice on who to contact or how to go about it would be greatly appreciated, cheers Ian

it needs the original "type" engine.

I know there are stringent rules - and a lot of money to be made of you send the "right" car over. There's also the risk of having it crushed on the dockside by the authorities if you get it wrong!

It was a 2.5 td, and a 300 is a 2.5 turbo diesel, so do u think it's the same type engine? Last thing I want is it crushed on the docks
