I see some dealers are offering circa £11.5k off list for the standard MY18 vogue with the TDV6.

How good is the TDV6 and is there any options that are must haves ? The Vogue seems well spec'd as standard.

It seems good value however is the TDV6 a dog of an engine and would the lack of spec be frustrating ?

I think Vogue SE is the sweet spot. Depends what is important to you I suppose. When I was looking my local Indy said most used buyers overlook the std Vogue and I can be understand that will many SEs and ABs for sale. The engine - before I tried both (diesel V6 & V8) I expected little difference based on what I had read. I found the V8 had more pull and better suited the vehicle. The V6 is said to be smoother. I didn't really notice that is was.

Are the higher spec ones also being discounted?

WOW - £11.5k off - That's about 14% off list! (£79,995 RRP) - Where have you seen that?

Are you sure it's not a MY17 car that's being cleared - 14% off the new model with a 4-6 month waiting list seems very high

They don't specifically say MY18 cars however the spec reads matrix headlights etc.

They also have a deal on what looks like the MY17 car where they are offering £699/mth and £8395 deposit.

I can see why you think it's a 2018 CSK423, it's not very clear is it..... The images show a 2017MY, though the list price is closer to a 2018MY Vogue SE. That list price of £86,054 is too much for a standard 2017MY Vogue or even a Vogue SE.

The spec shown also lists a Gesture Tailgate - Was that standard on 2017 Vogue or Vogue SE?

So it's difficult to know, all I do know is you can't trust Car Dealers! - If they are offering all that discount off a 2018MY, it's very, very cheap

I have a TDV6 L405, I think it's a great engine, I test drove mine back to back with the TDV8....yes it has more shove but the TDV6 was more refined on the move, I don't feel its lacking in any way. 32mpg average so far over 24k miles (with a lot of short distance), only issue is short service intervals wit these Euro6 motors due to the short distance work (DPF regeneration issues).

£8,395 Deposit and £699 per month seems to be the deal now and it's not clear if this is a MY18 or not.

Anyone came across any decent deals recently ?

This seems to be the deal now (if you can call it a deal!)........ Although at least now it does clearly state at the top of the page that it's for a 18MY.

Zero dealer / manufacturer contribution and expensive finance - One not to bother with in my opinion.

Furthermore, if you look at the small print, you've got to order and register the car between 1st January and 31st March 2018...... You'd be very lucky to order a car now and receive it before the 31st March 2018, so it all seems like a bit of a pointless offer!

That said, as it's a new model with a 6 month plus waiting, I suppose it's to be expected.
