I have a freelander with the three amigos showing.
Can anybody give me a running order of things to check and how to check / rule them out.
Or will i just have to bite the bullet and get it on a diagnostic check.
Thanks in advance

Wheel bearing making any noise? Jack up and check wheels for play.

Water ingress?

Both are possibilities. Really need to read the fault codes.

On my Disco2 it was due to an ABS sensor.

It will almost certainly be a sensor issue - likely an ABS sensor as per above. The HDC, ETC and ABS systems all pretty much hinge on accurate data being transmitted from the wheel sensors - if one of them stops working or acting up then the system tends to hedge bets by throwing up all three warning lights.

In certain cases it may be the ABS pump shuttle valve, but unlikely. ABS data can also be affected by shot wheel bearings (wheel effectively wobbling around and the sensor can't read how fast it's going) - but they'd have to be quite noticeably knackered to be at that stage - you'd probably hear it.

It would be worth taking to a place with a LR-compatible code reader - that will point you to which wheel is the culprit rather than guessing/chasing/throwing parts at the problem.

Get the codes read using a LR diagnostic tool.

Got the same issue with a td5, in fact roughly on average every nine months the lights are coming on for one reason or another, never had this issue with an old disco I once had.
