I had a D200 4-cylinder 110 and now have a D250 6-cylinder 90. I never really found the 110 slow, but clearly it was no speed machine.
The D250 is much quicker and sounds really good. The 90 is lighter of course, but I’m really liking the extra performance.
Too early to comment on mpg - WFH so have only done about 180 miles since I picked it up on 1st March.
Thanks for that - good to know. I think the 2021 models are all the 6 cylinder including the 200?The D250 is much quicker and sounds really good. The 90 is lighter of course, but I’m really liking the extra performance.

Well mine and my mates experiences are there are NO discounts to be had right now - certainly not on a 6 pot diesel
I took the plunge on 30th December and am now counting the days till mine turns up end of March
Was informed that mine was built last Friday - now waiting for the train ride from Nitra to Zeebrugge, the boat from Zeebrugge to Hull and then transporter to Guy Salmon in Stockport where all the 'goodies' are going to be fitted! I took the plunge on 30th December and am now counting the days till mine turns up end of March

Ditto but mine's coming to Knutsford.
Any idea how long the journey takes ?
My new Disco went 'on ship' (Zeebrugge) on the 16th, landed in the UK (Killingholme, Grimsby) on the 17th, and arrived at the dealer first thing yesterday morning (24th) on the back of a twin-trailer together with a Velar. When I popped down to take a look (and grab a pic) my dealer said his deliveries have been arriving in pairs due to the backlog/delays in shipping...Any idea how long the journey takes ?
I pick it up sat morning, and I can't wait to try the new D300 MHEV powertrain.

Hardly any really as I bought it for me and the dog
It's the DEFENDER S Ingenium 3.0 litre 6-cylinder 200HP
So upgraded headlights, stereo, contrasting roof, mudflaps - all pretty basic.
I think that I should have maybe gone for air suspension and side steps as my wife is only short and struggles to climb in and fall out.
Adds to the fun really.
Just a shame that the rear seats don't fold down flat, otherwise delighted.

Just going back through the configator as we’re still considering the new Defender, can’t decide between 90 or 110 but we saw a 90 up close yesterday and it looked fantastic.
We’re also looking at basic spec & petrol. Probably just privacy glass, fog lights, alloys and the centre console arm rest.
Does anyone know if we can get a fixed tow bar? Or does it have to be detachable because of the parking sensors? I really a fixed one, less faffing about.

There are factory fit deployable and detachable options, and a multi-height bar available as an accessory. We’re also looking at basic spec & petrol. Probably just privacy glass, fog lights, alloys and the centre console arm rest.

Note that on the 90, the detachable tow bar sits on the load space floor, secured to one of the luggage tie downs as there is no space under the boot floor for it.
The deployable is a much neater solution.

Is there a configuration where the rear floor can be completely flat?
Are the seats removable without tools?
On the 90, the seats don’t fold flat like they do on the 5-seat 110. I think some people have removed the seat base on the 90 which allows the seat backs to go a bit flatter, but there will still be a step in the floor. Are the seats removable without tools?
The 90 Hard Top has a flat floor though…
This was my 110:
