Hi guys, looking to get a second hand RRS but just wondering which one. Choice is one of the following:

2014 5.0 supercharged autobiography. Very quick, great spec
2017 3.0TD - sensible choice, with updated sat nav amongst a few other upgrades

Or should I bite the bullet and pay the extra for a 2019 3.0 TD model with the latest dash etc

My initial thoughts are that it’s a no brainer and I go for the 5 litre, but is there anything I should know, issues, known faults etc that will make it a much more expensive option other than the obvious fuel Costs..?

Thoughts anyone that’s had a 5ltr

Never had one but thought about it briefly until I read some reviews, which I suggest you should too. Reliability is legend on these, they even come from the factory with faults apparently, they are cheap for a reason

Over one million sold. There's bound to be reports of faults.

Anyway, depending on your mileage, I'd go for the supercharged car in Autobiography Dynamic spec with rear entertainment and leave the diesels for those who enjoy that sort of thing.
If you can apply man maths to your budget then perhaps one of the later hybrids (P400e) might give the best of both worlds?

After 2015/16 they did a decent revision to the infotainment system.

I would be aiming for one with the better system.
After that, it’s down to how you’ll use it.
Lower miles, get petrol, higher miles, get diesel.

Buy a warranty, a really good warranty. Then buy another one and stick another on top.

Then choose a Range Rover Sport.

Or you might get lucky, but the odds don’t look good.

Just my tuppence worth.
