Lovely. Doing 26mpg on short runs. 36mpg to the lakes and back. Smooth, quiet and has some proper go. Sounds nice too inside and out.

Excellent, don’t want another diesel and can’t wait 18-24 months for a hybrid, 6-9 for the 400p.

That looks fantastic Phil.

The Perlino interior is a great choice on these.

Absolutely you should be ordering another; when we collected ours a few weeks back i put an order in for a 510e SV.

On a 70 mile journey yesterday we averaged 38.1mpg...not bad for a big lump!
Enjoying my new Range Rover so much I've put in the order for another one and hoping to take advantage of the low depreciation when it comes time to swap. Similar spec but different colour scheme. Going to forget about the order and focus on enjoying the new one for now wink

For those considering an order it appears JLR are moving some of the options that were available on the SE/HSE to be AB or SV only, meaning the base price and their profits are increased. For example, the 23'' wheels are no longer offered on the HSE and some of the wood finishes have been deleted.

Let’s hope they keep selling the slightly used ones for the price of a new one.

As soon as all the supply issues are sorted, second hand values will plummet and cars will lose value similarly to in the past.

Furthermore, if JLR don’t take security and car theft to another level people will stop buying as many partly because they will become virtually impossible to insure in certain areas.

I also put a deposit down on a replacement shortly after taking delivery of my car – I am unsure if I will stick with diesel or go hybrid and as yet they have not asked me to specc the car.

JLR are going to limit supply I think. They are making these as desirable as a GT series Porsche and the residuals to match.

My order (placed May 2022) is still no closer to a build slot. Top spec PHEV AB. Dealer is saying that it might be another 6 months. I am now thinking about buying something else in the meantime.

Sales manager at my LR dealership called it a “bridging car” rofl

My 510e Sport was called my 'interim' car by the dealer.

I ordered mine Sept 2022 with a view that we needed it by March '23. Fingers crossed.

I ordered a similar car in October 2021. Have been told it's a "confirmed build" but still not sure when I'm going to get it.

Thats how it was put to myself; the dealer i use have been told they will be lucky to get more than 35 a year.

With current order times to delivery still being quoted at 12 to 18mths, the prices should remain strong.

The 510e sport that we got in Sept was £114k and they are currently listing used for around £135k; whether they sell at that is another thing altogether.

We got a great deal trading it in 3 weeks ago for its big brother.

The First Edition sport was great, but this 460 in Autobiography form is just an absolute fantastic motor.

What drivetrain do you have in the 460?

Its a 350 diesel this time.

We are getting around 36mpg so very frugal but looking forward to the 440e as I think the plug in hybrid is the star of the range.

Wheelspinning,

You must be one of a few people who have owned both the new RRS and new FFRR. I’d be interested to know if you prefer one over the other and why, or are they both excellent but with different strengths?

I have to say, the Sport was utterly fantastic and totally faultless in 6 months of ownership.

I cannot recommend one enough.

We have only had the FFRR for around a month and its shaping up to be exactly the same, if not even more comfortable and outstanding to waft about in.

There was only £10k difference in price between the 510e First Edition and the 350 Autobiography replacement.

Its defo worth the extra £10k.

Its amazing how quickly you get used to the plug in hybrid and its fab range, so really miss that aspect.

Strange because I always avoided Range Rovers due to outrageous depreciation and perceived reliability issues.

So far in my experience they have addressed both issues.

I genuinely cannot remember feeling as relaxed as I have done whilst behind the wheel of both of the models over any other previous vehicles owned.

Thanks.

Now you’ve owned a FFRR you’ll be hooked. I bought my first around 2008 and have had one ever since except for a very brief interlude with a S-Class which was so good it was boring, unlike the RR which always feels special to drive.
