So I’ve been trying work out what extras you get on the Dynamic over the SE. From the ‘Explore’ section in the configurator, all I can see is:
- Different coloured wheels (same 20” size), Satin grey instead of silver
- Steering wheel has a “Moonlight bezel”, whatever that is.
- Some bronze coloured trims on the front end and sides
Is that it? Seems little for the £3k extra.

It is hard to work out what you get. The roof lining is black and the seat colours are more restricted. - Different coloured wheels (same 20” size), Satin grey instead of silver

Easy choice for me not to get as I really don’t like the bronze coloured bits and can’t see £3k value in it
The wheels are 21” not 20”
OK, another geeky financial post.
I have now gone through the full tank of fuel in the RRS.
In that time, I also fully charged the car 5 times. Plus the car came fully charged from the dealer (so I have added a full charge cost on too).
In total I managed 622 miles.
The total cost of fuel plus all charges at current cap rates means that it has cost me 26p per mile.
Therefore, it is a little more economical on full EV mode rather than using the fuel or hybrid mode. Full EV mode is around 21-22p per mile. But of course you are limited to 55-60 miles at most. The above proves, nothing really to worry about in using hybrid mode, it is not a LOT more expensive.
Very happy with that to be honest, for such a large, heavy and luxurious car.
Enough of the maths now, time to carry on enjoying it now that I know it is more economical than most other cars I have recently owned, except the fully electric Tesla which is more than 50% less costly per mile, but is also 50% less comfortable and luxurious.
Another long trip coming this week so I will be at around 1000 miles by the end of this week...loving it!

But if that electric cost you 10p per kw, current Octopus overnight rate, it would be much cheaper
Unfortunately I don't have a night plan. I did look to change, but the day rate is so punitive at the moment, it doesn't make sense to do so. Wheelspinning said:
Brimmed when new and nowt since, and put on charge overnight, this is what our 510e is showing after nearly 400 miles.
We have a cheap off peak rate also.
On another note, what!??

£120k +VAT? Surely must be a typo.

Loving that display - may change mine to this one. How many times have you charged in that 363 miles? Its only been run down to zero battery on the 1st day we collected it.
In her previous 4x4 we would have stuck about £180+ of petrol in the same time.
I have not done any calculations on what the electricity has cost to charge so far, but it certainly seems a lot cheaper than 2 tanks a month of petrol at £140 each and 17mpg!
As previously mentioned, we have a 460 model order that has been seriously delayed and very fortunately offered this until the 440e LWB arrives in who knows when....however my wife is loving everything about this Sport Inc the colour which she initially didn't like, so it shall be interesting to see what happens when the bigger brother finally turns up.
I have to say, I am very impressed with our first ever Range Rover product; the car, the dealership service, and the events that they arrange for us to partake in.
Another boring numbers post here. Did a return journey today so thought rude not to do another numbers check.
Outward journey below...
This outward journey was in HYBRID mode, using pretty much all the battery en route. I had to switch to EV only mode in the last 14 or so miles to ensure it was close to empty when arriving.
Calculating cost of the journey with recent fuel price and full charge cost at current cap rate, which is what I pay, the cost is 18.1p per mile.
Return journey:
Using very small amount of battery left, then HYBRID mode the way home. Calculation tells me it cost 20.9p per mile.
Really happy with both scenarios. Outward journey, average pace was 58 MPH.
Average pace on way back was 57 MPH. So very similar, largely due to the rain and roadworks.
Anyone with an overnight tariff will likely see the outward journey costing closer to 12p per mile (assuming being charged at 10p/KwH) which of course changes things a little. That would have saved around £8 on the outward journey...return journey no major difference.
I think I have definitively proved to myself the car is efficient enough and after 1000 miles in two weeks, I hope to continue to enjoy it.

Looks like Sytner has a good pre owned range of sports sub 75miles LOL
Drove out the door, round to the back to be re sold. No wonder people are getting cars, there selling the things twice haha
I’m really surprised, the forms I have to fill in to agree not to sell the car within 3 months are OTT, though I know not enforceable LR are making it difficult for flippers and I’m surprised at Sytner. I’m told s lot of cars are going abroad, also told LR are going to flood the market soon, came from a broker friend who suggested residuals might be affected. They have soccer fields full of built cars just waiting for chips. So probably not flooding the market intentionally. Just finishing those already madecowboyengineer said:

Before the chip issue, my dealer was told their allocation shall be around 30 x 460 models a year and 40 Sports a year as they have changed the business model and making less and charging more to greatly assist used values.
The chip issue has changed all that; I was supposed to get my 460 in July. I don't even have a build slot and I have been told it could be April.
They have only had 2 sports to sell so far and they must have a static display model and a demo. They were expecting 12 before the end of the year but now anticipating 4.
Ordering one now is an 18 mth wait list for both models, but if speccing an Autobiography or a car in anything but a dark standard colour and there is no expectation of a delivery date.
