Picked her up earlier. They have made a slight mistake and given me the satin rather than silver wheels which I think might actually be a bit better in the flesh. I’ve been told they’ll swap them out if I want. Colour is Portofino blue which under the lights in the showroom and hopefully on a sunnier day than today looks beautiful. Very happy with it.
Just a heads up for anyone with a P440e on order the dealer said the price is going up as of tomorrow by 5.6%. They weren’t looking forward to those phone calls/emails.
That looks fab and I personally don't think they have made a mistake with the wheels...they really suit the colour.Just a heads up for anyone with a P440e on order the dealer said the price is going up as of tomorrow by 5.6%. They weren’t looking forward to those phone calls/emails.

I cancelled my order a couple of weeks ago. Got fed up of the extensions in delivery and (having checked with someone I know who works at JLR) was concerned it might slip further. Also concerned at possible price rises so to see you say that confirms (for me) I did the right thing. Have bought a bmw iX which suits me better anyway at the moment. I will probably be back when there is a full electric Land Rover availableoop north said:

I knew it had to happen one day - today I got “the” email to say that, after placing a deposit on a 510e First Edition on the day of launch, I finally have a build slot.
And the car is due to arrive at the dealers in …. September. Ish.
So much for it being a First Edition !!

I’m sure it’ll be nice, but I have a short attention span and, after 9 months of waiting, the excitement had worn off and I bought a FFRR SV Autobiography instead. We’ll see which one gets to stay when the sport turns up as I’m not keeping both.

I know what you mean, I cancelled my 350D Sport yesterday after 6 months and no build date. TBF though I am so impressed with my 350D Big Range Rover Autobiography that was originally bought as a stop gap for the Sport, I dont think I would have taken the Sport. Will most likely take the SV Sport though. Would love a SV 350D Big Range Rover, but 35k over my current car etc just seems a lot to pay for some nice paint and leather seats.I’m sure it’ll be nice, but I have a short attention span and, after 9 months of waiting, the excitement had worn off and I bought a FFRR SV Autobiography instead. Whilst the 510e First Edition Sport i had was an absolute fantastic car, I have done it the right way round.Edited by APOLO1 on Sunday 9th April 09:23
After having the sport and now its big brother, I personally wouldn't go back into a sport unless its a SVR.
In no way am i being disrespectful; the Sport really is a great bit of kit, and toyed with keeping it instead of taking on our new car.
Like you I have a 350 Autobiography which is also a really great car, but missing the plug in hybrid of the 510e Sport.
I have a 440e coming at some point; I think as soon as they sort out the Velocity Blue paint issues amongst other things, but it was supposed to arrive last summer so who knows.
Really loving this Charente Grey of this current car though; it really suits it.
I have a 510e SV in Amythist ordered but will be at least 12-18 months.

It’s the previous generation, so an SV Autobiography. Did try and do a deal on a beautiful new shape British Racing Green SV that was sat in the dealers showroom, but they just wouldn’t sell it, even at the full asking price. I miss the days when you could go into a showroom and actually buy a car !RT964 said:

I know what you mean about the new Sport its a great bit of kit, I had 440e for a weekend. But I am so used to the big RR now and its space etc and the way it just wafts along. The new SVR Sport is now called just the SV, its out to those lucky all-ready chosen fist few very very soon. Whist I am 100% keeping my big Range Rover I do need another bit smaller SUV, I will either go for SV Sport or the new Cayenne GT Face LiftAfter having the sport and now its big brother, I personally wouldn't go back into a sport unless its a SVR.

Could anyone who has been through the delivery process explain to me what it means when an order goes to “confirmed” status?
I ordered back in June 2022 and have only just had notification that its gone to “confirmed”.
Seems strange to me that it takes a whole year to get to “confirmed”. Is that normal?
Plus no longer an SE order but now a SE Dynamic along with it being a P460e instead of a P440e.
Does this mean there is light at end of the tunnel or do I still have a long wait to go?
Seriously thinking of just cancelling if its another 9 months or so from here…
