I've got a P440e arriving end of month, it's an SE. I've also got a Taycan on order that should've been here months ago, what I'm being told by Porsche is that delivery times are now very spec sensitive due to the availability of parts and chips, I suspect that would extend to other marques.
SNAP - Taycan ordered last Nov - probably get it march 2023; Ordered P440e PHEV RRS AB 2 weeks ago - 12 to 18 months...of further pain.Prashan

I think you could probably get into a new RRS sooner if you were prepared to drop the spec, the AB models will be slow because they are obviously so heavily specced and more exposed to the supply of parts/chips. I happened to land on a nicely specced 440e SE a few weeks ago (roof/wheels) and due to collect on October 3rd. The Taycan is another ball game, I too ordered last November and fully expected to be in the car in July but really don't trust anything the dealer tells me now, it's a humble 4S but I'm probably going to cancel and wait to see how the market shifts over the winter, if more people cancel and the flippers start to panic who knows? Anyone know the timeline for dealers getting demonstrators?
We have one on order but slightly conscious we haven’t even seen the car in the flesh yet.
My local dealer was expecting a demo last week but instead got a ‘display’ car, got the impression they were taken by surprise. They think the demo will arrive end of September. We have one on order but slightly conscious we haven’t even seen the car in the flesh yet.

Great to hear you have an early car. I will check again with my dealer and let him know my flexibility on spec. Sorry to hear about your Taycan - feel your pain. Mines a company car (salary sacrafice scheme). Sadly other cars are coming to the market with better spec / range - the new Audi A6 etron looks stunning too.pistonuser said:
Ordered P440e in May, just been told today that everything that was suppose to arrive Nov/Dec has now been unslotted and won't be built.
I was also told any prices increases can also be added onto my existing order!
That’s strange, did they give a reason? My pal is a high end car broker (got me a new 440e for delivery in a couple of weeks) and told me that he thinks LR have a stock of new RRS’s that they will slowly trickle onto the market, maybe as a tactic to undermine flippers, but seems odd. I was also told any prices increases can also be added onto my existing order!

Very frustrating situation for you… I thought D300 SE’s and Dynamics were the ones that would be coming though.
Meridian stereo related apparently. Which seems like BS as it’s the basic model so all the new RRS have them. I suspect they’re prioritising the more profitable specs; there’s literally nothing but tinted windows added to this one.
Doesn’t really matter as it’s for my father but his 70 plate RRS would currently get back everything he paid for it brand new two years ago. Not sure how long that will continue….

There are varying levels of Meridian spec as you go up the range - each has an increasing number of microchip requirement …I suspect they’re prioritising the more profitable specs; there’s literally nothing but tinted windows added to this one.
