Evening All.

Last week we picked up a 2020 Defender 110 SE P400, 49,500 km / 30k miles on the clock, FLRH (bit scant)

Cold climate pack, driver assist pack, expedition pack. Although the roof rack is missing, and they are replacing the rear fin / camera.

Living in Canada for just over a year, I looked and tested pick up trucks (F150, Silverado, Raptors and a Jeep Gladiator) Either too big, bit naff inside or I just didn’t like them.
I was looking at an old skool FFRR, but buying a car here is hard work, and I wanted a warranty.

Once we move province, I’ll start my modding / fettaling:

Rear recovery points, AT tyres, steel rims, under guards and some minor quality of life interior mods (Boot lighting, internal rear door release, storage compartments. And maybe, just maybe eliminate some wind noise (A pillar, and front door seals)

So far not many trips in it.

on day 2 we got a stone chip, which was repaired the next day (Gel fill) Canadian roads are wind scree killers (Wind shield)

It feels big (Discovery big) I like the chav induction noise from the snorkel with the driver window open from the snorkel.

We have a 8 hour drive on the bank holiday weekend, so I can report that back. Still trying to get a good seat position.

Book is plenty big, especially with the seats folded flat, however the rear door latch sticks out almost 2 inches, which is a pain in practical terms.
