No, the Sport was built to take on the X-5 and Cayane in the performance on-road driving stakes. Thus leaving the RR to continue to be the king of luxury and off-road.

at 63K it is too much. if you want a sports saloon get a sports saloon and if you want a 4x4 get a proper range rover or discovery or defender

yes The "sport" was essentially made for those who wanted a Rangie on a budget, when you get to that sort of money, why not buy a full size "proper" Range Rover? Would be interesting to hear from sports owners over this matter.

I preferred the srive to the "Big" Range Rover and it did most of what I needed. family, bikes, golf clubs, touring etc. we didnt go for the s/charged as a diesel is perfect for mile munching, we spent some of the difference on a Z4M! Problem solved!

each to their own etc

Is it just me, but I`m not that impressed with the figures from this new V8 diesel?
It now seems the RRS sort of equals the performance of the 3 litre diesels from BMW and Mercedes.
With the Mercedes 420cdi and BMW`s twin turbo 3 litre coming they`re both going to leave the RRS standing.
