Just thought I'd show you Landy owners what a proper 4x4 was, and what off-roading is like and what the 4wheel drive is for!
But you're only playing there. This is what it's really for...

The only thing that puts me off a 90 is....
the cost of buying one comapred to a newer SWB Trooper
the cost of buying one comapred to a newer SWB Trooper
That is because a 90 is better to start with and less likely to be a rusty old bag of nails

110 is just TOO big!
Really? No bigger than the LWB Trooper in those pictures surely?
Yeah fair suize bigger,. the wheelbase on the Trooper is bout 100 i think, and the over hang not too bad but the 110 overhang and size is shocking(probably wouldn't fit in the garage!
Now this is harcore- see vid in thread

Does that RR Classic go any higher when it's running?
There's no way it'd clear the ruts around here, mine drags it's belly in places and its been fitted with a lift kit
Yeah, it goes up as high as the P38s - mine had just broken a shock and one of the air springs was leaking so it was "resting" All fixed now though ready for another go on Sunday There's no way it'd clear the ruts around here, mine drags it's belly in places and its been fitted with a lift kit

Ahh yes suspension, probably the best bit of a RR, all that complicated air bags and electronics.
I'll let you know when I see one that sits level on a level road.
Don't hold your breath though cos it won't be in this lifetime

Very true, RR's should always been seen on uneven, off-road terrain
Of course, Jeeps always have to take it to the next level.......
