Disco 1 - stuck window

Afternoon

The disco 1 shed, has a window problem. Lowered the window, and the motor stayed on, even though the window was 100% lowered. Went to raise the window again, and now the motor is running, (with clicking noise) but nothing is happening.

Get the feeling this is common to Discos and wondered if anyone had any pointers as to what it could be?

It sounds like the gear on the motor isn't meshing properly with the teeth on the window regulator or the gear has broken, etc.

Had the same problem on mine.
Replaced the os reg that sorted that, but on the n/s all i have done is teken the door trim off and pushed the window up so the motor could grab the good bits of the reg,this sent the window to the top,then fitted a rubber stop into the window channel so it cant go as far down.
Has worked fine for the last six months now.
