My dads 01 td4 has two warning lights appear on his display,TC and the hill descent one, he was out for a drive, less than 10 miles and on the way home they came on.
He wasnt off road or anything and wasnt driveing excessively fast.
Can anyone shed some light on what he should check and look for.

There is a common fault on Land Rovers known as the 3 amigos, ABS, TC and HDC lights all on and I suspect that this is your problem. You'll need to get the vehicle in and get the codes read by someone who knows Land Rovers to avoid throwing parts at the issue ( a Land Rover Dealer Or Indy with TestBook).

Here are a couple of links that will give some more information on the 3 amigos fault:

http://www.discoweb.org/forums/index.php

On this second link you'll need to register and then do a search for the "3 amigos".

Thanks for the replies folks.
Heres hopeing its the front sensor, goes for its MOT tomorrow at local garage and the chances of them haveing a code reader for landrover are slim.
thanks again.

Ours has gone in today to have the sensor changed, only for them to figure out its the wrong sensor !!! and the correct one is you've guessed it 260 quid plus vat... it gets better the sensor is that siezed on they are probably going to have to take the hub off to change it !!!!
