Just posted this up on Landyzone, not sure if any of you Landy owners post there, but I could really do with some of your thoughts on this:

How often do you get asked if your disco is for sale?

A few months back, the "travellers" were in town and some strange scruffy oik came and "suggested" that my parent's drive (where I keep the disco) needed doing. Then asked if the disco was for sale then disappeared without visiting anyone else.

Two weeks ago, a more polite chappie did the same thing, but visited several other houses asking about driveways. He apologised for being rude, but wanted to know if the disco was for sale.

Anyway, at work at the mo, and my brother texts me to say that a chap knocked on the door, not obviously a "wanderer", smartish, claiming to be from a Fleet Disposal Company, asking if it was for sale.

Now, this has never happened to me, or anyone else I know before. It's my first Landy, but obviously it's generating some interest. I hope, not an unhealthy one if you catch my drift. But I am starting to get a bit concerned.

It's nothing special. To the untrained eye, the only major difference is a winch bumper - winch isn't fitted yet, and BFG A/Ts. It's usually pretty dirty too. I wouldn't buy it

So - is this normal for Landy owners out there? Should I be concerned? I guess it's nice people are asking rather than just making off with it.

Cheers. Decided to do just that. I have a spare one from another car, so I'll put it on the Disco for now instead.
The Disco does have an alarm and immobiliser, but I suspect they know that...
