Well after much badgering from my better half I have taken the plunge and purchased my first Landrover Defender.

Its a May 2006 on '06 plate "Defender Silver" 90 TD5 with 7k miles with aircon and lots more toys.

Went to the auction looking at an '04 plate Defender 90 TD5 County SW (which incidentally went for 9.1k with 55k miles) - but I wanted the side windows etc.

Saw the '06 plate lurking a couple of rows over and is basically unmarked inside and out - everything in order - wasn't listed in the orginal auction info some don't think the usual dealers were lurking. Will take some piccies and post as soon as I can get the insurance cover note and tax sorted.

Went to BCA Blackbushe - LandROVER was listed in their light commercial vehicles sale on Thursday. Lots of panel vans and pickups - only 2 landrovers.
