Before this thread goes too far off tangent - any chance we could get back to suggesting cars he doesn't want..... or the even funnier trick of suggesting cars he does want (really, really want) but are hugely outside the budget.

Then we can stand back and watch him combust with rage (or debt).
ooo, yes. lets do that.

Forget the diesel. Go for a 4.6. Remove cats and add big bore exhaust.

Buy shares in BP.

Alternatively, the 3rd gen is dipping as low as £16-17K.

Run awayyyyyy!!!!!

Drop me a mail old nervosa boy and I'll impart some sage pearls of wisdom and tell you what to go look at. As long as it doesn't have one of those goddamn porker badges on again. I still haven't forgiven you.
didnt you spend ages trying to buy a cayenne? i could probably find the thread if youd like.....

shall i show it to the good people over here? hmm?
Oooh getting personal are we Mr Short Arse? Well at least the Cayneene had a V8 in it! blah I also recall the thread had about 0.75 of a post from me and then 7046 pages of Porker-related abuse as you all had a big cat fight around your handbags over which of your volkswagens was the crappest! blabla

Anyway, glad you're finally seeing the light... would still heartily recommend an L322 over a P38 though.... cheap as chips these days too.

The buffoon has just texted me, is on his way to an 02 plate 4.0 Westmister (I assume still a P38 but when did the L322 come out, was there a crossover?) - he is asking about any known issues with these, can't find much if any specific with a goodle, anything I am missing. Gonna tell him to make sure it gets up to a decent temp to make sure it doesn't overheat (although the 4litres are safer anyway aren't they?)

tell him to make sure the seat squeaks when he gets in and out - and that the horn has a dukes of Hazzard tone.

Oh, and that the engine is in the front, it has 4 wheels - at least 3 of which should be round, and that it moves without requiring people to push.

This is the main thing, you want the Dixie musical horn set, there is some serious debate at to whether you need the 12 or 13 note one IIRC.

Oh, and you need to weld up the doors, too. Wind the windows down first (obviously), and pray for good weather.

Actually, you know rangies are fine but I reckon you'd get all that stuff in a decent (350 at least) Dodge Charger. You needn't even paint it matt black, bright red with the confederate flag on the roof would work too.

Plus they go off road (dirt roads usually but the odd field and bridge) and you could do some wicked stunts which chewing on a stick of grass. And they can run on moonshine..

Yes, the more I think of it, the more Nervous 'Hazzard' Duke needs to get one.
Do it now, the important thing here is action - not thought.

The main thing to remember is that we're all unique. (Except me).
