What are these like to drive?
They are the pre-Td5 generation and I had the impression they were very thirsty and a bit stodgy, with a lot of torque slip from the auto - ie lots of lovely V8 growl, but not a lot of go, without flooring it.
Would like to be proved wrong.
A lot better than a TD5 to drive. The change up is so smooth you dont notice it,no clunks from the transmission what so ever,it just borders on RR quality. One thing i have noticed is that the the ride is firm, and doesnt roll in the corners like my previous P38 and Classics.Ive managed 110mph so far.And there was still a bit of travel in the pedal.I am managing 13 mpg around town and 24 mpg on a run. They are the pre-Td5 generation and I had the impression they were very thirsty and a bit stodgy, with a lot of torque slip from the auto - ie lots of lovely V8 growl, but not a lot of go, without flooring it.
Would like to be proved wrong.
