Getting rid of the pick-up, chopping it in against a 51 Td5 manual Disco GS. I know these have problems with rust, engines and boxes but want something that can tow and drive better than a bouncy Ute. Had a good look round it, no leaky sunroofs, wet carpets or scabby paint, has a full LRSH and 2 owners from new.
Drove it yesterday and although sluggish - which I was expecting (may look into chip/cooler) it drove really well - very comfortable. Hoping to pick it up in the next few days once 12m ticket has been put on it. In 23 years of driving - my first LR!
