The roof lining in my 90 truck cab is starting to sag, seems that water must be leaking into the roof as i got wet this morning when parking her on a slope. wWater dripped out of the front corner of the roof!!

Checked the roof outside and no obvious places for water ingress.

Has anyone had a similar problem before?

Err, yes - just about every 90 owner has! biggrin

The usual cause is the join that goes round the roof guttering - on older ones there are little rivets all along the bottom of the gutter which leak eventually. I fixed mine by dribbling some 'Seal and Seal' type windscreen sealer along the join. The rubbery silicon type sealer won't work, it needs to be the liquid type that seeps into joins. You can also fix it by painting the inside of the roof gutter which seals any little gaps. If that isn't it, it could also a leaking sunroof, but only if you have one fitted!

If your 90 has a full hardtop but only a front headliner, it could also just be condensation on the metal roof building up as it was on a slope, but it sounds like too much from what you say.

On rainy days when going into the motorway service areas, people allways used to think I was incontinent due to the positioning of the wet patches from my leaky 90.
The answer to your question is.........
They all do that sir!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the help guys, i know a lot of Landys leak but this is the first time ive had this problem in 3 years of owning her.
Reason I asked is that im getting a full roll cage fitted in the next 2 weeks, so didnt want to have to try and remove the roof once thats fitted!

I suspect its the gutter joins, so will pull out the headlining and see if i can see where the most water is coming in and work from there.

My 90 has the same problem, luckily when I lifted the mat I found that LR cleverly install a small(ish) hole at the gearbox side of the footwell to drain the water ingress. If yours is blocked you will probably find that poking the brown section of the floor area between the two shiny panels will help to open up the drain hole, often quite considerably.
