Risk free matched betting using bookie offers
Discussion
Thanks for the heads up on Corbettsports Rich. I was scouring my little black book and wondering why the hell I don't have an account there - it turns out they are linked to BGbet which I signed up to many moons ago so didn't chance Corbett. However the OH has neither so it goes on my list for tomorrow/Wednesday.
I've been reading the MSE thread on the betfair mobile offer and i'm not that comfortable with it to be honest (although i've got my head around it). I got burnt by a betfair offer in the past, nothing major but they said they had no record of me opting into a promotion when I had done. Conveniently their opt in pages do not usually show your username, so even though I had a screenshot it proved nothing. The same applies to this one.
So I think i'll go in with a medium risk (to me) and aim for a 30% bonus of around £100, assuming 2x£50 losses on 2 of the 3 races. Watch out for rule 4 deductions folks!
ETA: Don't miss the Bet365 offer on Chelsea/Napoli on Wednesday - an easy £35 minimum: hxxp://www.bet365.com/extra/extra.aspx?ContentPath=Promotions%2cSoccer%2cChampsLeagueFreeBet

Thanks for the heads up Sarge.
Just how should I play this on Weds to make sure that I have covered myself.
Should I play the pre-match as a qualifier and the in-play as a SR bet?
Cheers.
Place £50 pre kick off for as small a loss as possible (can't see any minimum odds but I usually do over 2.0 to cover myself). Then place another £50 in running as a SNRJust how should I play this on Weds to make sure that I have covered myself.

For example my bets the last time this was run (Liverpool v Spurs) were:
Qualifier: Back Liverpool £50 @ 2.05, lay at Smarkets @ 2.06
In running SNR: Back Spurs £50 @ 5, lay at Smarkets @ 5
Gave me £38 profit at 2% commission
Usually best to wait until Half time to place the in running bet as theres less risk of variation in odds. Also make sure you don't have an account deposit limit of £50 for a day or something silly which could mess you up (I speak from experience!)
The day is here!
I want to do the apollobet and betvictor offers
However I cant find for sure which one is the supreme novice hurdles on either site.
On betvictor I think I have it but I'm not sure, its down as "Supreme Novices' - 1/4 1,2,3,4" is that it?
I've found it on betfair but thats showing as suspended at the moment so I'm assuming it will open up in a bit?
ETA Think I've found it now. Got todays market for that race on BF and its the 13:30 at appollo.

Didn't know about the 32Red one, thanks for that. My main problem is liquidity so I think I'll stick to victor and red today and see where I go from there. Here's a quick run down of my first day offers:

Today's question. If I want to lay a bet on Betfair but on the odds in the pink box that I am looking at there is only £48, what should I consider?
Cheers.
There's not enough liquidity at that price, so the balance will go unmatched. Either to be matched when someone wants to back at that price, or not, in which case you'd need to re-match the balance at the next available odds.Cheers.
You're also running a risk that by the time you sort your bet out, that £48 has gone.
So, at this stage in your MBing, I'd either wait for more liquidity or choose an alternative match with plenty of liquidity.
Do it
A lot are scared of non runners etc, but this only affects your horse if it wins, and even then what the bookie and BF do with non runners generally equalise anyway.
Just don't go in within half an hour (or an hour @ Chelts) of the start of race, for now.
No.1 Rule with horses: DO NOT get muddled up and chose the TO BE PLACED market at Betfair, thinking you've stumbled across a massive arb!!

Ah now matched.
That happens when the odds have shifted whilst putting your lay through. If you use the ultimatcher sheet it tells you how much you need to lay if the odds have now shifted and you've only got some of matched at say 8 and now its at 8.2. Very handy, and will happen to you at some point betting on any sport so worth knowing now! If it happens again, leave it a few mins, will usually get matched pretty quickly.
As an exercise, Refresh the prices box (not the whole page) every second or two and see how much money is moving about, and how fast!
Ultimatcher3 is indeed highly recommended for all things matched betting.
