It works on IE.

OK , signed up with betfair and bunged £200 in and also signed up for the £50 free bet with ladbrokes and deposited the necessary £50 and also registered with odds monkey.

So..I am £250 in the hole and i have not even started yet hehe

Is odds monkey as simple as it looks?

For example:

If i just took the top suggestion, i need to register with Victor Chandler (another £25 free bet) and place the bet with them then go to betfair and place the lay, with both bets being for the same amount?

Sounds too easy..

Yes, but...

You'll have read that for a quali bet you want short odds, and a free bet you want longer odds (7-10 - the higher the odds the higher your lay liability will be at betfair)

You'll have found a better deal with Vic than £25 free.

Now. You've deposited £50 at Ladbrokes using their code for a free £50 bet. You'll have read in their T+Cs that you need to place your quali today.
There are no min odds for this offer BUT you want min odds 1.2 to get the BF bonus straight away.

So you want a good match with Lads, 1.20-1.25 something like that, that also has at least £50 liquidity at Betfair smile

I used to use this to work it out.

The lay stake is the number you'd type into Betfair. Be careful to type in the correct amount in "stake forfeited" as it changes things!

15Nov UkraineU21 v LithuaniaU21, UkraineU21 to Win - back @ laddies £50 1.33, lay UkraineU21 to win @ BF 1.32 - Stake £52.36 liability £16.76

Brilliant match. You'll lose 26p whatever happens and your £50 free bet will be credited as soon as this quali bet is settled.

I have just realised how little i know about gambling..

i was expecting 3/2 and stuff like that..i am confused!

The first ladbrokes bet that is showing on oddsmonkey is for a game tomorrow, so i guess that is too late to qualify?

So i now need to go to ladbrokes and actually use my non existent gambling knowledge to find my first bet?

This could be expensive hehe

I edited that post Shuvi. Found a good match for ya.

You have to bet your quali today to get the free bet! It does not have to be on an event today though.

Edit: to convert 3/2 to decimal: (3 divided by 2) PLUS 1 = 2.50

You can edit your preferences to decimal odds at Laddies in 'your account'

Do this bet then step back and read the MSE guides !!!!!!!

This is really confusing to a non gambler with zero interest in football.

I am now looking at the ladbrokes betting options for the match but there does not appear to be an option for "ukraine to win" but i have lots of options for guessing the exact score..

I am sure it is there, just in terminology that is meaningless to me frown

Alongside the match title: WDW (Win Draw Win) click on the 1st box which says 1/3 - that is home (UkraineU21) win.

Everyone else, PLEASE DO NOT RUSH IN. REFER TO MY FIRST POST !!!!

Easy free money yes, but you have to absorb all the info!!!

The top. Where it says "WDW".

Not being funny, but if you can't work that out I'm not sure that matched betting is the way for you to make money...

Once your laddies bet is confirmed (and NOT before) lay your bet at BF.

Make sure you've got pink boxes up (lay bets)

Click on the 'Ukraine U21' pink box with 1.32 in it.
Enter your lay stake of £52.36

Should calculate lay liabililty of £16.76 and acknowledge 'bet accepted and matched'

With that attitude, no one would ever learn anything.

I now know what WDW refers too, so i am already learning smile

Fair enough. If I were you I'd perhaps do some reading before depositing any more though!

I do have a lot to learn..

My dad lost his shirt (and house) on the horses in the 70's so i have always had an aversion to gambling...

Go into laddies 'my account' and change the preferences to odds:decimal so you're ready to find a good match after tomorrow night for your free bet smile

Lets do it live again on Weds after this has settled on both sides. You may need more in your BF account though: you want £300-350 available really to match odds 7 to 7.5 which are optimum for a free £50 SNR bet.

(Which is why you really want to start with £10/£20 offers)

ETA: You've already passed the stake £25 BF threshold so your BF account will be credited by £25 bonus in 48hrs. Let me know your payment details for your share of my £25 referrer bonus too wink

You should also get an email from bettingwarehouse notifying you of your cashback £17.50 (if you used my referrer code) by Friday smile
