Following on from my other thread for the Evo (which now has no pics thank to Photobucket... Cheers!) - https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&... ... Here is a few fresh pics of my Icelle Blue Evo VI, which has just had a load of detailling work done.

It was mechanically wet sanded to correct some defects, refined and then ceramic coated to keep it all looking smart for a long time to come hopefully. Really happy with how it's turned out!

Looks shiny

Can anything be done with the mesh under the right hand headlight to make it shinier - or is just the photo that makes it look black in parts?

All the mesh is sprayed black, although there are some chips forming hence the silvery look about it. Next job on the list!

Very nice. Which products were used to provide the finish?

I believe it's a Gyeon ceramic coating although I'm not 100%

Stunning results. May I ask what one might expect to pay for such bodywork treatment?

I believe it should have cost around £800 mainly due to the wet sanding which is very laboursome, but as it was a friend of mine who kindly did the work on the car it wasn't quite that much.

A photo from during the wet sanding... Scary!

Thanks, that's fairly reasonable I would say
