Last year there was a referendum, and the outcome was quite a surprise to the currency market.
Does no time spent at all count ?
For the next two weeks, I thought I was employed by Manchester United.

It was extremely unusual, so probably won't suit OP.

Y'know that story puzzles me. I'd have thought news of a big win and winner especially like the one in the story would be a huge business stimulator - an even better way to boost (or maintain) BET365 business than the (very good) Ray Winstone ads.

My own similar story involves winnings of a grand or so on a team I bet "to win" which were refused because the team won in extra time and not normal time. (sorted at area manager level).

I hope that lady gets her winnings + interest + costs. Very 'unsporting' of BET365.
Seems that there are more of these stories involving 365 than other bookmakers, make of that what you will

How on earth did you make £46k from £250 with an hour of work? Surely that must involve gambling in some way?

Nothing big.

Bought equipment one morning for £600.

Before I'd even written the cheque out 2 pieces of that equipment were sold for £1500.

Others sold on ebay and elsewhere the profit for the others was about £2000.

Nice day out and not much effort either#

Wish I had a similar pay day once every month

The key principle is to get paid according to the value that you add as opposed to the time that you spend.

Many years ago I got paid £10,000 (plus vat!) for introducing two acquaintances over lunch. One of them was looking to buy a very niche business and the other was looking to sell just such an business. Zero effort but lots of value added!

Back in the good days of Groupon it was so easy to make tons of cash without much effort. The staff used to have a target book (hot products on a big dartboard) and my rep would tell me what he needed so we could churn it out. He took a hefty commission and we got listed almost daily doing between 5 - 40k a day in sales.

After a year or so the staff started doing most of the deals themselves with arms length companies which pushed us out the best deals.

Nope, nothing whatsoever to do with letting. Wouldn't take a sleeping interest in letting at more than commercial loan rates. 5%. So £30kpa from £600k. So not worth a PH'er getting involved in.
Not taxis is it?
