A decent dropshipper would never do anything so dumb,
I have zero experience of dropshippers but i did not expect Amazon to approach my suppliers either smile

Do the supplier have a white label option for their customers? If so then this is the easiest route to market for you.

You could experiment with Google's Adwords Express, a simplified version, from about £50 per month; it's very easy to see changes in traffic and the cost. Google might offer to match any spend up to £120.

Shopify is cheap and will do a job, its good at taking feeds as well.

The site isnt the issue its getting traffic and converting it - your budget wont touch the sides of others so you need to be smart

With a purchase made up of several components people tend to "google" the most popular part and add on the rest as such you could use Google shopping and pick popular single parts so you stand out and get clicks, then from that loss leader hope they buy related items or do kits with that part and others. Or you can add value but Google shopping isnt good at this approach (bathroom cab, brush, roll holder etc) as you would need your own EAN and nobody would ever see it.

Happy to have an off the meter chat BUT dont think this will be easy and that you will make a fortune quickly - it isnt and you wont BUT its doable if your buying right.

Another vote for Shopify here. Massively scalable and I love the flexibility of being able to completely customise every aspect of the site (apart from the checkout page that is).

I wasn’t happy with the cookie cutter product page template as it just looked far too generic, I also got fed up with cumbersome and expensive landing page builders and then having to redirect visitors to the appropriate product page.

It took a bit of work but I’m just putting the finishing touches on a completely custom product page template for my main product (which is essentially 450 variations of the same thing). Now every product is a landing page, and it takes about 30 seconds to set up each one using the native Shopify dashboard.

Can’t rate it highly enough. I’m sure some of the other big players do offer the same kind of flexibility, however I know that BigCommerce for one did not, that was extremely restrictive when trying to set up a store for a friend...

Here’s how my custom page template looks in action...

Looks really good, have you tested your coding on all popular devices?

I checked out most screen sizes on quirktools.com. A few of them aren’t ‘perfect’, but as far as I know all of them are useable.

I think Firefox has a few issues which need addressing, but according to my analytics it’s only used by a small percentage of visitors!

Just need to get decent traffic now, but that’s a topic for another thread!

Your products look great, really great. Your shiny website buttons and graphics don't though. The "Check to confirm options and order price." isn't coded correctly, you have to click or tap on the checkbox itself, not the label. I'd also look at better styling on the breadcrumbs as they would be important for this type of product. Hope these are received in the manner they are given, that is to be constructive.

Just replied, see you soon.

Had a great meeting with DSLiverpool and team on Friday. Nice offices, interesting to see how well the shared workspace/hotdesk idea worked, I thought it was going to be all a bit Shoreditch, but seemed to work very well! Now just waiting for the quote biggrin

I have been looking at lots of sites for a bit of inspiration, anyone got any favorite sites they think works and looks great (does not have to be bathrooms)?

Hi

I've personally had these websites made for myself:

www.it-shield.co.uk
www.sara6aras.co.uk

I charge £200 per website design and yearly cost is £50 which includes e-mails and .co.uk domain.
I host with SiteGround so you get amazing speeds.

SEO and PPC I know the basics about but the website will be completely optimized if you want an SEO to take charge later.
Message me smile

Warmly welcomed, thank you.

Noted on the buttons, I need to change those.

Which graphics are you referring to?

I can’t do anything with the checkbox button, the product options are a third party plugin and I can’t change that kind of thing. I’d rather not have that box there at all, but it’s needed to avoid errors adding the products to the cart if they aren’t selected using the drop down menus.

What could be improved with the breadcrumbs?

I like that a lot, more classy and lifestyle than the usual 99% off banners in leery red!

Absolutely great. Spot on when on a mobile.

The graphics are those with a shine applied also, your logo in bronze, silver gold etc. They look rather dated to me.

For the checkbox, I would complain to the developers if it is a paid app. You should be able to click or tap on the label to activate the checkbox, you will lose customers here.

The breadcrumbs could just be a little more obvious, IMHO, rather than just a colour change, particularly on a mobile, so that a visitor arriving on the wrong product page can easily see where to navigate. Maybe just pad them out a little and bold the font. See DSL's example site at https://www.drench.co.uk/furniture/vanity-units/fl...
